Backed by Science

Chlorella has been studied in controlled human trials for its detoxification and immune-supporting properties. In a clinical study of pregnant women, chlorella supplementation reduced dioxin levels in breast milk and increased immunoglobulin A (IgA), an important immune factor for infants [1].

In another randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, healthy adults who took chlorella for eight weeks showed significant increases in natural killer (NK) cell activity and favorable cytokine responses compared to placebo, demonstrating its potential to support immune defenses [2].
