Quercetin Dihydrate (from Sophora japonica flower):
We source our quercetin from pagoda flowers. These flowers come from a tropical plant native to India and Southeast Asia. On its own, quercetin is very poorly
absorbed.
Bromelain 2400 GDU (from Pineapple Stem Extract):
A protein-digesting enzyme found in the fruit and stem of the pineapple plant. Most importantly, bromelain significantly enhances quercetin absorption, moving
it from the digestive tract into the bloodstream more efficiently.
Zinc (as zinc bisglycinate chelate):A vital mineral for the activity of more than 300 enzymes. Zinc also aids in the body’s ability to heal wounds.
Vitamin C (from tapioca, as ascorbic acid): An antioxidant that protects against cell damage and helps boost your immune system. Your body needs it to form blood vessels, cartilage, muscle, and bone
collagen. It is also a vital ingredient in your body’s healing processes.
Vitamin D (from lanolin, as cholecalciferol): Well known for helping your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D3 may also help protect against respiratory infection. It is not found in many common
foods. Though your body is capable of synthesizing Vitamin D3 through exposure to sunlight, many older adults do not get enough time in the sun to produce a
sufficient amount. Studies estimate that a staggering 60% of nursing home residents and 57% of hospitalized adults are Vitamin D-deficient. The total
number of Americans who suffer from Vitamin D deficiency has been shown to be as high as 42%.
Vitamin K2 (as menaquinone-7): Regulates calcium deposition, promoting the calcification of bones and preventing the hardening of arteries and kidneys. The Vitamin K2 in our formula (MK-7) is more bioavailable and helps direct the calcium absorbed by Vitamin D3 to end up where you want it (your bones) and not where you don’t (your arteries and kidneys). There are very few sources of K2 in the typical Western diet. We source our K2 from natto, a well-known fermented Japanese superfood.
Additional Ingredients: These were carefully selected to complement foundational nutrients like zinc
and vitamin D. Together, they fortify broad-spectrum immune defenses, including protection against COVID-19 and its lingering impacts.
Vitamin A (aspalmitate): Essential for mucosal immunity—the body’s first line of defense against
respiratory viruses, including COVID-19. Vitamin A levels can be depleted by prolonged Vitamin D supplementation, which is why we’ve included it to help maintain immune balance.
Vitamin E (as acetate): A fat-soluble antioxidant that supports immune health and vascular integrity.
It also helps counteract the oxidative damage caused by seed oils and other inflammatory dietary fats. Like Vitamin A, it can become depleted with long-term Vitamin D use.
Copper (as copper bisglycinate): Included to offset zinc-induced depletion, which is common with long-term zinc supplementation. Copper supports immune function, red blood cell formation, and collagen synthesis, and we use a chelated form for superior absorption.
Potassium (as potassium citrate) :An essential electrolyte that helps balance sodium levels and plays a critical role in regulating blood viscosity and flow. Adequate potassium helps normalize zeta potential -the electrical charge that keeps blood cells from clumping. This matters especially in the context of COVID-related clotting and spike protein exposure, including from environmental shedding.
Note: Vitamins D3 and K2 are fat-soluble, and the
human body absorbs them best when consumed with a meal.
